Our club has been active for 15 years now. In 1993 we first started out by creating a trail system at Yanks Peak which was an ungroomed route. We then purchased a groomer several years later and started grooming our system. In 2005 we then expanded our system by adding Hampton Trail and in 2007 we added a new to us groomer to our fleet to keep up with the grooming.
Cariboo riders are blessed with five to seven months of ideal conditions and endless destinations, from frozen lakes and rolling hills to towering rocky peaks, the area has it all. The local favorites however are Yanks Peak, Mount Timothy and the Quesnel and Horsefly areas.
Our most memorable moments as club members of this club, is when snowmobiles near and far compliment us on how well a job we have done. That makes it comforting to know that all the hard work we have done as members is appreciated and well worth
our donated time and effort!!
The purpose of our club is to create and maintain some of the best snowmobile trails in the North Cariboo. This is done in part by the volunteers that donate their time to groom and maintain the trails weekly. With out them we would have no trails!
We have some of the best signed and groomed trails in all of Cariboo. You won't get lost anywhere on OUR trail system, thanks in part to our wonderful signing efforts. We keep our trails groomed 20 feet wide whenever possible.
Over the years there has been several events ranging from Swap Meets, Club Rides and Sno Drags. The Club has its own Safety Cabin at Yanks Peak and is constantly upgrading and maintaining the existing trail system and working towards developing new ones including the Gold Rush Trail System.
